
NIMCET
National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are Institutions of National Importance Under MHRD, Govt. of India. The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission into their MCA program. The MCA program is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal. The admission into the MCA program for the year 2021-22 in the above 11 NITs is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2021 only.

Educational Qualifications
Educational qualification is an important component of NIMCET eligibility. All the candidates must fulfill the educational qualification mentioned on the official website of NIMCET. Here are the detailed educational qualifications are given for the reference of the candidates:

Candidates with full-time 3 years B.SC/BIT/BCA with Maths or Statistics or equivalent as a compulsory subject from a recognized institution or university.

B.Tech/BE Students can also apply for the exam.

Candidates from open Universities or candidates appearing in Qualifying exams can also apply for the NIMCET exam.
NIMCET 2021 Exam Pattern
NIMCET 2021 exam pattern gives details about the type, model, and question weightage of the exam. The exam will be held on 7th August 2021 through online mode. The examination will be asked in the English language. Total of 120 multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.
The duration of the examination will be two hours. The question paper will be 480 marks. For each correct answer, four marks will be given to the candidates.
